Service & Maintenance
Recurring maintenance customers are required to agree to the separate maintenance specific contract.
Duro Pools does not take responsibility for general wear on pool equipment and pool related items.
Duro Pools is not responsible for turning on, inspecting, or servicing gas related items (natural gas or propane). A licensed gas technician must be contracted for these services.
Customers with automatic pool covers will be charged an additional fee or return visit if the cover requires pumping to access the pool. Significant water on the automatic cover can cause damage to the material and mechanism of the cover. Duro Pools is not responsible for any damages caused by improper maintenance to the cover.
Openings
Water level, water condition, cover condition, and liner condition are not the responsibility of Duro Pools
The customer is responsible for hydro to the pool equipment being turned on the day of opening so the pool equipment can be started.
Duro Pools will start pool equipment if water level is at an operating level. If pool equipment is located significantly above the water level and the pump can not be primed, this service will not be included.
Water level that is required to be lowered to appropriate operating level is the responsibility of the homeowner.
Duro Pools will check for leaks and issues if the equipment is operable upon opening. If a leak can be addressed on site, additional charges for parts but not labour will apply. If required parts are not available, a service call can be requested at service call rates.
If equipment is started by Duro Pools., and a leak is found by the customer within 48 hours of pool opening, please contact Duro Pools for a non-charged return visit (parts not included) to address the leak. If pool equipment can not be started during pool opening, a return visit for leaks can be requested as a service call.

Closings
Water level, water condition, cover condition, and liner condition are not the responsibility of Duro Pools
The customer is responsible for proper chemical balancing and water quality before pool closing.
The customer is responsible for removing debris from the pool prior to pool closing.
In cities where bylaw restrictions do not allow for draining of pool water to the street, lowering of the pool water below the lowest return jet is the responsibility of the homeowner. If the water is not lowered to an appropriate level, a $100 return visit will be charged once lowered appropriately.
A $25 credit will apply for homeowners who lower their own water.
The customer is responsible for turning off the gas supply to pool heaters.
The customer is responsible for confirming that any timers or hydro that controls the pool equipment is turned off after the pool closing and remains off for the duration of the pools closure. If power is controlled from the main breaker in the house, the homeowner is required to be home during the pool closing.
Any parts required to complete the closing of the pool will be charged additionally.

Liners
All liner installation requests require a pre-installation inspection. Complete installation quotes will only be provided after an on sight inspection. Duro Pools reserves the right to add to the agreement if unforeseen circumstances arrive once the liner is removed from the pool. No work will be performed until agreed upon by both parties if the agreement is to be altered.
Duro Pools offers no guarantee on floor quality or smoothness, and is largely dependent on existing circumstances.
Duro Pools can not guarantee that no wrinkling in the liner will occur. In particular, above ground pool liners which are made to standard dimensions, do not always meet the same dimensions of the pool that it will be installed in.
After liner installation is completed the customer has 48 hours to report any leaks or water loss to Duro Pools. Beyond that time, only manufacturer warranty will apply. Standard labour warranty still applies.
Payment
Payment is due on receipt. Net 30 or 60 term dates are not offered unless otherwise agreed upon. Overdue accounts will be charged an overdue fee of 3% per month.
Any fees associated with retrieval of past due accounts (liens, small claims court fees, etc.) will be included to the amount due.
Payment accepted in the forms of credit, debit, e-transfer, cheque, cash.
Duro Pools reserves the right to process payment using any valid credit card we have on file for any outstanding or past due invoices that have been issued.
A 2.4% credit card processing fee will be applied to payments over $500.
Pricing
All pricing is subject to HST.
All materials, unless otherwise stated, are extra, and will be added to the customers invoice.
Chemical pricing on maintenance services are subject to change per market price.
Service calls have a minimum charge of $140 (per visit), additional work beyond the first hour is billed at $100 per hour.
Warranty & Guarantee
All work performed by Duro Pools is subject to a standard 30 day labour guarantee for work performed. This does not cover any defects or issues that may arise after service completed by Duro Pools that is outside of the scope of work performed. All equipment, parts, materials used or required are subject to manufacturer warranty.
In scheduling, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions provided by Duro Pools.
